Honey for retail packers and private-label houses

Retail packers and private-label houses either fill consumer jars from bulk honey on their own line, or ask Balaji to fill glass and PET under their artwork. The commercial path is pack first, then the honey lot and documents behind the label.

Overview

What buyers need to know

01

Two buying paths

Some packers buy drums or cans and fill at their own plant. Others send artwork and take finished jars from Balaji under private label. Both paths need a honey variety and colour band that match what the label will say.

Organic, True Source, or NMR wording on pack is only honest when that credential is ordered with the lot. Do not assume a website mark covers every shipment period.

02

Formats

Inbound bulk uses the published drum and can sizes on the packaging page. Finished retail uses published glass and PET jar options on the private-label and packaging pages. Closures and label area follow the mould confirmed on the quotation.

03

Purchasing checklist

State bulk versus filled jars, destination market, honey variety, estimated quantity, and any credential the label will show. For private label, artwork and jar choice come with the enquiry so sales can quote the correct fill.
